You might find some discussion on the weapons already in this thread, though it may be slightly off-topic. Also, you can find the Oppressor skins on the wiki here.

There's your link to Oppressor's Weapons. They sell for about 20-50k now. And yes, they are the new "l33t" weapons to get and they are moddable.
Some of the Commemorative Weapons are not too bad, like Alari's Blades have a unique skin, but yes they will not be worth as much as the Oppressor's weapons. They sell for around 5-20k at most.
But you can get Commemorative Weapons at anytime in the keep, but with the Oppressor's, you have to beat the last mission to get access to them.

That's kinda sad, considering I see all the time, "WTB war supplies, 300g each." 300g*250 is 75k (yes, I have 20 medals of honor to liquidate as well)...

Yeah, I found that thread in <search> - not worth searching 8 pages for relevant replies.
But THX for the skin pages - for some reason, the wiki search I did resulted in no obvious links (http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Liong...28collector%29). LOL, just click on the weapon?!?

It's a shame that things like this can't be added to the Hall of Failure.

The quests in the chain that leads up to the weapon NPCs give medals in their rewards. They also give Royal Gifts which have a decent chance of giving medals too.
You needn't spend 75k on supplies.

The Oppressor item NPCs are up the hill to the left as you walk in to LA Keep.

That's not true. There in the same place as they are in the last mission.

I did not know that, thanks for telling me.
All this time I kept doing the last mission over and over to get my Oppressor's Weapons >.<

I know - like I said, I still have 20 medals of honor to liquidate. It's unfortunate that they're worth 1/3 of what they would have been, had they been war supplies in the first place.
Or, in other words, only a *MORON* is turning in war supplies for medals of honor...
EDIT - FWIW, I've saved up 7 stacks of war supplies, and over 150 royal gifts...
EDIT PRIME:

See the post Shayne alluded to - I was posting in it, and beat the final WiK quest fairly easily, without using an essence of celerity...

Well look at it this way. War Supplies are tradeable. Medals Of Honor are not.
Now with War Supplies being more than an Oppressor Weapon, here is my thought. When you trade in War Supplies for Medals Of Honor, you are stuck with those medals from now on. Then when you trade in those medals for an Oppressor's Weapon, you can get one specific weapon. So they sell for a lower amount cause the weapon your are selling is the weapon you chose, not what the person you are trying to sell to may want.
Unlike with War Supplies, that is basically a weapon of your choice. You sell War Supplies to a player, and they can get any weapon of their own choice.
So the price will be higher for someone that wants a weapon of their choice (War Supplies), instead of buying the weapon itself straight up (Oppressor's Weapons) from another player.
It's the same thing with the Talismans and such from endgame. The price for a Talisman that lets you choose a green of your choice, will always be higher than the actual greens themselves because you are selling that person their own choice of weapon, not what weapon you chose.

Me: WTS Oppressor Weapons 75k
Player: Which weapons do you have?
Me: Tell me what you want and I'll convert my medals to that.
I don't see the problem.

Basically what I just said.
You are selling a choice to the player, not a fixed decision. Thus, being more expensive.
Now if you had say Oppressor's Recurve Bow, you are selling a specific weapon that only a select few players may want, thus having to sell cheaper to find a buyer.
But since you don't actually have a weapon, and instead have Medals/Supplies, you have a higher player base to sell to cause you are offering their choice of weapon, meaning more expensive cause they get to choose what they want.

But will it work in practice? does it?
Medals go for the same amount as a stack of war supplies?

Medals are worth 0 since you can not trade or sell them to another player - you must trade them in for weapons before you can make any money off them.
but I think I see what you mean - you are selling the option for the other player to pick what weapon they want you to get for them
That may work for a while - i know the weapons were trading for quite a bit the first couple of days. But i don't see the weapons remaining that high for very long.

Since they can now be dyed, anyone got a pic of how they look. Like of the shield or something.

anyways this thread seems as good a place to post this as any, and it's been in the back of my mind for almost a week.
I have enough MoH's to get like 15 trade-ins, and really, I don't have the inventory space for that. I did enough Falken running back when the getting was good that I was able to get all 3 SB minis, so I have no reason to open more Royal Gifts. And I still have about 25 stacks of war supplies, but I don't want to sell them because I'm not sure if this WiK content is going away, or is permanent. What to do..........

I believe it is going to be here permanently.
It's not a holiday event that comes and goes. This is part of the main story in Guild Wars to help branch it to Guild Wars 2. Since it plays a main part, I believe it will be here permanently to allow everyone a chance to take part in it.
